So, I put this mod into place quite a while ago, and it sees a very small amount of attention. Libby and I plan on using it just for pet projects, but after I submitted something to it, I realised that, while it isn't a terrible system, it's a bit convoluted at times. So here's a walkthrough for how to get a story on the site.

Step 1: Hover your mouse over the Fanfics button and select "My Fanfics".

Step 2: Click on the Add Story button at the top. It's the red one.

Step 3: Fill in the details. Pretty much everything there is self-explanatory, with one exception. The field of Discussion Topic. Which brings us to the following optional step.
Step 3.5: Adding a discussion topic allows you to link the story to an existing thread elsewhere on the forums, so that people, when they're done reading the story, can leave feedback and comments in a format that's a lot more readable and familiar than the inbuilt comment section. To do this, you need the thread's ID number. For example, if you look at the URL for this page, you see the following.

http://www.furry-within.com/index.php/topic,1620.0.html

In bold is the thread's ID number. Each one is unique. Just put that number into the Discussion Thread box and when your story is published, a big red button at the top of the page shows up like this.

Now, I've created a board specifically for story discussion, should people be interested in talking about things, or are in need of feedback and comments. This board is a child of the Discussion Board, and is called Story Discussion. Link is here, though at the time of writing, it is empty.
Step 4: Add your story. Beneath all of the fields is a large box for you to type in. By default, it is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), so pressing CTRL+I on highlighted text will make it italic, and so on. However if you'd like to manage things a bit more, you can click on the page icon on the far right to view the source of the text, which may help you pinpoint formatting errors.

Step 5: Press Save and you're done. If at any point you want to edit your story, you can see your submitted stories in the My Fanfics section detailed in Step 1.

THat's pretty cool, will have to start using it. First, just gotta write, but I think I have a few tidbits I could toss up that can help explain some backstory for some characters (Not that you want just pieces, but probably entire works.)
I must say, there is not nearly enough nudity in life.

You can post whatever you want, really. It doesn't matter to me much.
