Species: Gila monster, slightly mutagenic*.
Age: 26
Height: 6'9"/203cm
Weight: 362lb/164kg
Colouration: Standard gila monster colouration, black and beige mottle. Brown eyes.
Personality summary: Grit lives up to his name. He is easily irritated, quick to violence and eager to hurt. He has little desire to talk problems out when he can break an arm and get an answer far quicker.
Backstory: Grit grew up in a travelling caravan of traders, moving across the barren wastes between townships. His parents, however, had debts that couldn't be paid. They gave up their only son to the man they owed money to. He took Grit, but as another mouth to feed was hardly a net gain, he had Grit's parents killed anyway.
From there, he taught Grit important skills. How to kill, extort and hurt others. All important things. As of now, he is still under the employ of the same man, working the same job that put a bullet in his parents' heads.

*Grit has a slight mutation that makes his venom exceptionally toxic. He can use this to coat weapons, and keeps a phial of toxin on his person for such situations.

Name: Tess (Tesseract)
Sex: Female
Species: Sea Mink
Age: Mid Twenties
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 105lbs
Colouration: The majority of her body is a dark red hue, getting deeper in colour with her fingers, toes, the tips of her ears and tail turning black. She does have a white spot on her chest, however its usually kept hidden with dirt or charcoal to help with camouflage. She has heterochromia of the eyes, her right being a green with yellow flecks, while her left is a dark brown almost black.   
Personality: More flight than fight, though territorial of what is hers. She aims to be neither seen nor heard, especially when it comes to creatures that best her in strength. She's cautious of everything, though will not hesitate to take something she needs. Does not go out of her way to screw over other beings, though desperate times sometimes call for desperate measures.
Mostly trustworthy.. 
Backstory: At one point as a child she had lived on the coast, her first memories were of water as far as the eye could see. Though no parents so to speak, she was raised by a brother who took moderate care of her; letting her learn the hard way more often than not. Teaching her to fight, and survive. In her late teens he came down with an illness and perished, leaving her to her own device. Luckily his connections still did business with her, as long as she had some form of payment; no favors.
Gear/kit: Light weight small crossbow, ten bolts, almost guaranteed to be strapped to her back and loaded. Four small knives in sheaths, one on each hip attached to her belt, and one on each calf. Kept there with belting going around her calves. She wears plain earthy coloured cotton clothing, usually with many pockets and tight fitting to help keep the noise down.
Skills: Whilst not overly strong, she is fast, and flexible. Which definitely gives her a good chance when it comes to close quarters fighting. She is light on her feet and has fantastic night vision.
