Thought this was gonna be a neat place to just chat with people and actually get to know them, not some character. Apparently I was wrong

You know, RP is only being pushed in a single room. You can still chat with them in other rooms completely out of character. Or whispers. You don't have the throw the baby out with the bathwater, try to get people interested in visiting other areas of the chat/site with you. You might make some new friends or find something new you like.

Also, most of the time, some of us are still not completely IC, as well, so you're getting how 'we' are doing and not necessarily how our character is doing.

Fursonas are meant to be a character through which the author can portray difference aspects of themselves. More often than not, you will be getting to know the person behind the character anyway. Hope this helps.

Anyway, you know your options. If you have to go, that's your decision. I'm sure you'll be missed. If you're going to stick around, please amend the post so people stop commenting on the obvious remedies to the issue you're having.

I haven't been online much (thanks to a family emergancy) but I'm rarely "in character" when I;m in the chat.  Mainly becuase Tabby (the mouse) literally IS me.
