So, since we haven't had an event, I thought that maybe we could do a social gathering type thing and have a movie night or somesuch.

No idea on the movie, that's up for debate, but I was thinking either Friday or Saturday at ~8 PM Central, we could cram into the Discord and watch a movie together. Still undecided if we're gonna use Rabb.it or click on a link I'll provide to the movie and count down from 3. I'll fuck around with it.

Anyone interested in this? Movie suggestions? I've seen virtually every movie there is, so I don't really have any input on what happens.

I vote for doing this on a Friday night since my Saturday nights are booked.  I don't have a webcam or a mic though, so not sure how it would work for me, but hey, I'm voting.
See ya later, shitlords!

Rabb.it has text chat as well so no worries, Arthro! I'll likely turn audio off so I hear the damned movie. ;P I'm fine with either night.

I would suggest something light-hearted and funny. Heavy stuff and horror can certainly be fun, but easily can leave someone out. Everyone likes to laugh.  :D

Kung Fu Hustle would be my immediate recommendation

I can only go from my own personal tastes, but the only suggestions I could think of for being more accessible rather than horror or heavy subjects matters would be Airplane (1 or 2) or How To Train Your Dragon (1 or 2).
Totally not biased. At all.

I am totally in for Airplane or HTTYD.

Also, we could watch any number of Monty Python stuff. I'm sure someone's got bunched up panties and hates it. But most people probably love it.

I've got a lot of suggestions for movies, but, as with the staff meeting nights, weekends are the most important part of my shift, so sadly I'm unavailable. If there's ever a mid-week Tuesday-Wednesday deal, I'm down for that.
See for yourself!

I'm in a similar boat, my friday-sunday evenings are pretty booked solid.

This is too late for me so I can't make it, need to be earlier or on a Sunday/Monday night. As for movies, Beetlejuice can be a fun one to watch together.

Honestly, the best movie to watch together is Monty Python's The Holy Grail.

So, two for Monty Python then. :D
