Vera Voux. (WORK IN PROGRESS! By Celzic.)

The year is 2104 documented by the Humans, the year the planet called 'Earth' succumbed to two power-hungry nations (Which will not be named). An all out war broke out between the two after a dispute over the last resource of the newly found crystal named Quarelium discovered in 2079, which was harvested after its discovery that it could supply more energy than any other fossel fuel, the two nations were heated into the advance of capturing it instead of sharing it, saboutage rung out in the news between the two nations before war was declared.

This was the catalyst for the end of the world, the two forces used not only their own soils as battlegrounds, but other continents to fight, too. Dessicrating life left and right, the innocents fled to those countries that wished not to fight and were armed with not weapons but shieldings, this soon died out as the Quarelium that supported these fields were depleated, giving more reason for the nations to fight out. The super-weapons were brought out, Quarelium concerntrations were devastating to life when tested on plant matter the first few weeks of discovery. These super-weapons were what drove the inhabitants of Vera Voux to save the millions of innocents that would have been effected if one of these missiles were to detonate.

Vera Voux is a planet filled with peaceful souls that wish to get away from war and terror, those who wished not to be in peril, those with the hearts of healers and lovers were granted their prayers of salvation. Vera Voux is named after the Goddess Vera, who sought scanctuary for her worshippers. Races from all over were taken away from their woes and given a place to live, free of pollution, corruption and and sadness. Vera Voux works with the people to keep them happy, everyone is equal throughout the land and technology is not as advanced as any other planets were, their technological age was about the same as Earth in the year 2009.

The Goddess Vera sought to save those humans whom were in peril and gave them the opportunity to live on this scanctuary, they all took the chance to escape and made their way to Vera Voux in pillars of light, as if portals ripped through the sky. A diary was found abandonned in the streets which depicted what had happened in the eyes of a human around their teenagers, this is a clipping relevant to their travel to Vera Voux;
"..The sky itself seemed to hum as we saw flashes in the distant sky, they were the cause of the Quarelium missiles striking land, as the people in the streets started to break down and cry, a mysterious light in the sky talked to us, offering us a way out, the light seemed to make what looked like a tornado of white touch down on the ground, an opening like a door on the front for people to walk through. I took the leap and went in first, the light became brighter and brighter before darkness... as I started to awaken, I was greeted by that of an Anthropomorphic fox.. Boy, I thought it was a dream... They were real..."

In Vera Voux is plenty of species throughout, getting away from their miseries, but the natives to the planet were the Anthropomorphic Beings, or 'Furries', made in the image of Vera's Heart. Whether it's Furries, 'Demons and Angels', Humans or anything else, they are all equal.

The capital of Vera Voux is a small town called Zhalin, a peaceful settlement at the foot of a mountain said to reach up towards The Goddess Vera, people climbing the mountain to seek answers in the Cloud Temples. Zhalin is always covered in snow throughout the year, a gentle blanket of white hugs the streets. Though the technological age is Earth's 2009, there were no cars or trucks, the furries kept it clean and simple, bikes or walk.

What happened to the planet Earth is a mystery after Vera's appearance, for she cared not what happened to the damaged, corrupted planet.

Le Petit (Restaurant)

In the snow covered town of Zhalin, in the district of Eve bordering on Yahan is an alleyway; just in front of it is a sign pointing down the alleyway, promising food and drink. Venturing down the dark alleyway and turning left on the corner, a light shines from the sign, shining Le Petit through pink neon, the quiet noise of people dining and drinking, the smooth jazz playing in the background to add to the ambience.
Walking up the stairs to enter the bar, the sweet blend of chocolate and strawberry overpowers that of cigarette smoke and the main course, the chef was making his special he created himself. You ring the bell on the bar as you sit down, the chef putting his things aside and away, hurriedly moving out to greet you, he smiles and pulls out a notepad and a pen.
