Ts-Radoth Ktchela - A tattoo standard to the Ktchela'n Guard, given upon graduation from the pre-military courses. Placement is across the entire outer thigh. 2. Bak d Dyran - A tribute to the warrior, Bakran Na U'Rel, whose campaigns led to victory during the purge of the S'Thuan people in Sarq 20299581. These markings are gifted by the current leader of Ktchela upon being elected to be an Executioner. Placement is on the outer forearms. 3. Rok Ranosh - Simply an ornamental tattoo with no significant meaning, however those that choose to wear them are typically Guards who pursue rather extreme forms of meditation and focus to achieve perfection in combat, often at the cost of intense physical and psychological strain. Placement is on the outer-upper arms. 4. Masthurik Evo Kyvan Ktchela - A mark standard to all Gra borne of Ktchela, which honours the billions who died during the Le'ran Ubreth attacks and purge of S'Thuan and S'Therinas. Also a testament to the pride of the Gra as a whole, and their ability to hold a grudge. Placement is across the throat. 5. Murok Eth - Another ornamental tattoo. Its meaning is of no significance on its own, but the bearer usually has good reason to receive it. Placement is below the left eye. 6. Radoth Beron - A mark of commendation from within the Ktchela'n Guard, usually received for excelling in areas of combat, or for performing certain extraordinary feats. It is sought after by many, but received by few. 7. Lorn Bekthurn'da - A tattoo that is received voluntarily, however is often chosen by those with exceptional pride in their people, the military, and planet in general. This tattoo is a tribute to Lorn Na Dekranth Jura'n, and his many successful campaigns and master tactics that lead to the ultimate defence of Dathirikan during the Prosian Ke Mornbelok wars of Sarq 187886423. Placement is across the midsection. 8. Therin Vash - A tribute mark in honour of Therin luRekv Byruq and the Prosian people who sacrificed their lives to defend the planet Dathirikan from the initial S'Thuan assaults. It is obtained voluntarily, but doing so will often garner a warm reception by the Prosian people. Position is on the lower-right back. 9. Ktchela Vakrathirin - A mark bestowed upon those who have attained one of the highest honours in Gra society, Executioner. It depicts the reaching grasp of the Prosian peoples' mind, and two blades wielded by heroes of Ktchela; Bakran Na U'Rel's spear, and Met'Cer Na Vish's splash blade. Position is on the left side of the chest. Physical Description: Azhtek stands at approximately 8'10" tall, with ebon scales accented by crimson tattoos that he wears proudly. His physique is lithe, with toned muscles hidden beneath smooth scale that hide the physical strength years of discipline, training, and the increased gravity of Dathirikan have helped develop. Bone spikes protrude from his skull, starting at his forehead and splitting into two paths that follow the curve of his skull backwards, down his neck, and stopping at his middle back. A pair of thick horns grow from the sides of his skull, swooping backwards. His hands end in five fingers, each tipped with a sharp claw designed by evolution primarily for puncturing and gripping, though also able to be used for slashing and tearing. Similarly, the three claws on each of his three-toed feet, are designed for inflicting maximum damage by digging into a victim and tearing open a massive wound. His tail is approximately seven feet long, and armoured with bone spikes protruding at regular intervals. History: Azhtek's life is reasonably unremarkable as far as the people of Dathirikan and Ktchela are concerned. Like almost all of the population, his parents were not his own. During the mating season of the Gra, billions of eggs are lain, and parenting is often assigned to those with suitable professions. As life professions are assigned to Gra before they even hatch, they are placed under the care and tutoring of a willing parent, or parents immediately after hatching from the rookery. He was assigned to a person of the military and distant descendant of Bakran Na U'Rel, Matherin Na U'Rel, who immediately began teaching him ways of combat, meditation, and discipline that the military courses often glazed over, while simultaneously teaching Azhtek intimate details regarding tactics, enemy manipulation, and planet history that was not included in basic Guard classes. All of these provided him with an edge over his associates and, as he grew older, proved to be a great advantage in his goal to become an Executioner. His higher-than-average pain threshold, ability to devise tactics far beyond the obvious in complex situations and obtain an objective with consistently perfect execution, physical stamina and combat prowess allowed him to leap through the ranks at a remarkably young age to obtain the title and rank of Ktchela'n Executioner. He now resides in Ktchea, Greater Ktchela, as the city's Executioner, and sees to such duties as Guard placement around the city, criminal "interrogation", and execution of criminals, to name a few. Personality: Azhtek is aggressive to an almost pathological degree, when he requires himself to be, which would be understandable as his life resolves around violence. In combat training, he takes every opportunity to wound an opponent, physically and psychologically, which often leads to the combatant being so near-death that there are few who willingly face him. In a real combat situation, he strikes without mercy and with utmost precision against an enemy to fell them as quickly as possible. He takes particular enjoyment in the interrogation of those who have committed crimes against his people or cities, picking apart their bodies and minds, literally and metaphorically, to leave them bitter shells of what they once were, and what they might have been. While his methods are perhaps not the most civilised, they have, undoubtedly, lead to a massive reduction in crime within the city of Ktchela. He views any loss in combat as a personal weakness, and will recount the event obsessively during meditation and work to rid himself of the imperfection he may have displayed, whether it was through his folly or not. His pride of his people is above almost all things in his life, and he takes insults to his planet, people, race or even professional very personally, judging those who say things against them to be ignorant, thick-headed and generally unevolved. If it comes to it, he will willingly show through force why his kind are superior, and why they are to be respected. Out of situations of combat, Executioner duties and mediation, he is rather placid, enjoying the company of friends, particularly those within some kind of military organisation, his own or otherwise, and the frequent celebrations within the Gra society.
