Does anybody still go in there?  Are we gonna use it?  Why aren't we using it now?  Let us know so we can fix this or get rid of it, citizens of FW!  :>  It's not fair to Azh to keep it up if nobody ever ventures there.

I personally don't like it.  It leaves the chat pretty barren when people are there and some people can't use it.

I go there a bit, but no one is there, so I leave. I was thinking nobody has been showing up because of college or jobs getting really busy over the holidays.

Yeah, but it's been dead for a long while now, if what I've heard is right.  I'm just trying to get input to see if there's anything we could do to get people in there more, and if not, if we maybe ought to just get rid of it. :/

I used to come in from time to time, but eventually I could never find anyone there. If there's gonna be some people in there now I'll be happy to pop in now and then when my schedule allows, it's been changing a bit and half the time I'm awake and able to get on I can't because everyone else is sleeping in the house.

Maybe a thread where people can voluntarily give ballpark times of when they show up on Vent? That way, people can see when are good times to hang out. Not sure how helpful that would be, but it is just an idea.

I would rather it not go away since there have been fun times just talking on it. Sometimes, it feels a lot better for a sense of community to talk with voice rather than just text in my opinion.

Sorry for the 2 month later bump, but it didn't make sense to post this in a new thread.

Anyway, I had an idea - obviously, the vent isn't being used here, but, why not FW group Skype voice chats? If someone wants in, they can just log in and request an invite, if not, they don't have to. It's free to download and use, and there's no limit on users. Just a thought.

I like that idea. This should be in a new thread so people will check it out, and opt in or tell their Skype names to others or something similar.
