As some of you might have noticed, the site has started to have some issues, especially in the chat. Every now and then, the chat will seize up and the site will go offline for however long. During this time, there is honestly nothing I can do to resolve the issue as I can't access the admin tools required.
The cause of the issue is simple; it's the chat. I've known that the chat is a very heavy-duty program for the server for a while now, but haven't had any decent solutions to fix it. The only answer was "we need more RAM".
So, after a few months of searching, I've found a webhost who offers more stuff for less money, which is good, and allows me absolute control over the system. I've begun the process of migrating the server to the new location, but it's a lengthy process as I want to make sure everything comes across okay.
What this means for you: probably nothing. I'll put the forums into maintenance mode when I start migrating them, but leave the chat running. Updates will be shown through a Twitter account I've set up just now, so if you use the platform, then go ahead and follow that for news. Previously I've just used my Skype's status to show what's going on with the site, but I figure that this is a better way.

Questions and comments welcome.
Sounds good to me. I may not have experienced quite as many issues with the chat as others have done, but if maintenance becomes easier for any of it money or otherwise, it's never bad. Any idea how long the migration could take?
