Title: Ignorance LOL
Post by: Fen on May 19, 2011, 01:45:27 PM
I'm enjoying the humor in this series, but because of the issue brought up with this I'm putting it in the discussion board and seeing how you feel about it.

That links you to the first episode on a play-list of the whole series so far.

Warning: Contains racial issues and such within america. May be loaded with opinions that you really don't have to care about.

That was actually entertaining and it gave an interesting perspective.  My Dad really likes to know about heritage (but he asks everyone, despite skin colours).  But this was certainly a really interesting video to watch.  To be fair though, the dude narrating was over reacting just a little I felt.

I found it entertaining that they subjected white people to the stereotype that were all stupid and racist. Along with the fact that some of the situations were rather hilarious to watch.

Well, the situation in the lobby wasn't so bad, I see my Dad do it all the time in an effort to strike of conversation.  Once he got into the interview room I could see the "Oh, you weren't who I was expecting" line happening and the following assumption could have been correct but the following was a little far-fetched.  That was my issue with it.  I think they're just a little sensitive because what actually pisses me off most about white people is how readily a lot of them will throw themselves into the line of fir to get offended for someone.  I mean I can't even believe how many straight white people get offended at gay jokes while I'm sitting their laughing my ass off.  They're not always white, but they are almost always.

So in the end there are a spectrum of of people, both of varying ends of the scale.
