So, a quick question relating to the chat. I've had a small number of people asking about this, and I'm curious as to whether they're the vocal few for a larger number, or just wanting to get their exhibitionism thing out there.

Would you like to allow sex in the public channels of the chat? Would you care? Would it put you off going? Answers, people; I need them.

Im against. That was the one thing i loved about FW and thus hated about every other place. There is an open channel for that, that isnt the main lobby.

After a lot of thinking (and a few bong rips,) I thought this:

While public sex wouldn't bother me individually, the only problem I have with it is that the perpetrators of such actions would be the kind of "oh i cum on ur face whit hte horsecok U R NOW MY PET gves u a leesh" people. And I am totally against that in general. I don't think anyone should do that anywhere in that manner, let alone in public. So thus I vote no.

Flirting and touchy feely should be fine, but full out sexual intercourse should be saved for the Adult room... unless you wish to have company watching your act XD then you should just say, if you guys wish to follow us, please do so ;p hehe buuuuut this is just imho, course ^^

Personally, I think it will be best to keep it like it is. Then to have sex out in public and it be like the other sites. keep it more unique.

I personally like the way it is.  Sex is an option and from what i've noticed, people take it to private rooms anyway, save for the few who can't be bothered to take their typefucking elsewhere.  Plus there's a public room for people who think others want to watch already.  Honestly I don't think it would change anything.

*shrugs* Leave it the way it is.

Alright, all joking aside, here's my take.

Currently we have more than just the one room. There is a general rp, an adult rp and an OoC room.
It just so happens that several factors tend to relieve our minds of any relevance the names of these rooms may have.

Firstly, there aren't that many people on at one given time, thus most chat goers tend to direct themselves to where everyone else is. This creates a pattern that keeps almost everyone constantly in the first room since we all tend to congregate there and no one seems willing to be the first to leave for another room.

Secondly, despite the main room being 'general rp,' only about half the time does anyone actually rp in there. Mostly it's OoC chat and whatnot. If someone does start to rp upon entering, it does sorta set the tone to get others rp'ing, but everyone who ops out simply goes about doing what they were, just putting the same "-Licks Spot's face-" in brackets instead.

Lastly, unless someone is complaining, I see no reason to make a rule for something that, last time I checked, was already a rule. Yes, like I mentioned before, these rooms do have names and suggested content use. If it is a problem seeing two furs go at it via rp in the main chat, moderators (presumably) will be standing by to receive user concerns and promptly ask the lewd couple to use another room or exchange through whispers.
