Description:  Pale, turquoise-blue scales make up the coloration of the Argonian's body, lighter on the underbelly, and a solid shade everywhere else.  His form consists of small, non-overlapping scales, smooth, and rounded to the touch.  Y'zon is moderately built, quite athletic, his form well suited to traversing the wilderness and using a sword.  His muzzle is shorter, blunt, characterized by deep blue eyes and an array of curved, off-black colored spikes jutting from the back of his head.  Three teeth protrude from his upper jaw on either side.  His tail is about 4 feet in length, and is semi prehensile, capable of grasping smaller objects.

Clothing:
Casual: Y'zon's attire can best be summed up as minimalistic, hardly carrying, let alone wearing anything that would otherwise encumber his movement.  His basic attire as of the present is a pair of silken leggings, black, with silver flames woven around the ankles.  This is held up by a rugged and durable leather belt.  He keeps a waterproof rucksack attached to the rigging belt from which the sheathe of his blade is slung.
Adventuring/Battle:When traveling in places that are known to be dangerous, or when he has time to prepare for them, Y'zon possesses a lightweight set of leather armor.  Additionally, he wears a silver pauldron on his left shoulder, and a metal bracer/gauntlet on his left wrist.
Modern Casual: Loose fitting jeans with a pull belt and dark colored undershirt/tank top.  May wear a lightweight jacket if conditions dictate.

Equipment:
Silver Longsword: Y'zon's most valuable possession, a well kept, brilliantly silver longsword.  It is distinguished by the broad design, solid, balanced, and polished to a mirror shine.  A large ruby is set in the pommel, and is bound with soft, lightly worn leather at the handle.  He wields it like a master, his strength allowing him to move and swing as though it were an extension of his arm.  He is observed to regard it almost as if it were a living being, and is seldom seen without it being within arm's reach.  Accompanying it is the matching sheathe, of elegant, yet unassuming design.  A thin rigging cord allows it to be slung on his back.
Battle:  In a prepared battle, he equips an elegant silver pauldron to his left shoulder, over leather body armor.  Additionally, his left arm is protected with a well insulated steel bracer.  In his left hand, he wields a brutal cestus.  To further complicate his armament, his sword is held in the right.  In combat, he demonstrates a rare, very specialized form of martial combat that makes use of the two weapons in tandem.
Modern Battle: Wears lightweight armor, and carries an SWD-M Dragunov, equipped with a custom 6x42 telescopic sight, folding bipod, and flash suppressor.  Loaded with a 10 round box clip of a high velocity ballistic tipped .30-06 cartridges, as well as two spare magazines, and a third loaded with armor piercing rounds.  Depending on the circumstances has available ghillie suit and several regional based camouflage outfits.  Additionally, he carries a silenced Beretta M-9 pistol holstered with two spare 15 round clips and combat knife.

Background:
Y'zon was born as the first hatched of a clutch of three.  He was raised as a member of the infamous and current dominating clan of the Black Marsh, the Ash Talons.  He was immediately seen as unique as having a full body of bright blue scales, compared to the usual earthy mix as the rest of his clan and species on whole.  His birth name was aptly given to him after the young hatchling managed to stumble into a large razerthorn bush, and somehow escaped on his own completely unscathed.  It means, "He who treads the thorned path", or simply 'Thornwalker'.  It is said that those who are born such odd colors are 'marked' for having a special fate, or to have blessed lives.
Childhood did not come easy for the young Argonian.  The swamp was a dangerous place, and all the members of his clan who could be put to use were, be it the adult males out on hunts, or the females and younglings out gathering herbs and various foods and berries that grew there.  Between daily chores for the benefit of the clan, he was often singled out by his peers, often challenging 'the chosen one' in an effort to single themselves out to the older males and be recognized in spars and training.  Y'zon grew up emboldened by this, and the constant challenge only improved his own skill until none of his peers could match him.
He grew as an aspiring warrior for the Ash Talons, his strength and abilities outmatching even some of the older males.  He was quiet and often kept to himself whenever possible, but his skill built a reputation amongst those around him, always thrusting him into the eyes of his people.  At 9 years of age, he even managed to land a blow that winded the current champion warfighter of his clan in a 'friendly' spar.  This act brought him much praise and even more recognition with the elders and adults, despite the bruises and broken teeth that resulted.
On certain days, the young Argonian got to accompany his mother to a small missionary settlement carved out of the inhospitable land and occupied by humans.  She went often as an emissary for the clan, learning the ways of these civilized folk and passing on their knowledge to her people.  It was here that Y'zon learned to read, and write, and to an extent, speak like them.  He developed a fascination with knowledge, always excited to learn the secrets held in the vast scriptures.  He learned much of the world this way at such a young age, continuing to visit their library until the place was consumed and reclaimed by the land, the people tragically dying off from a wasting disease that quickly spread through their population from the swamp one year.
At 11 years of age, marked the most significant change of Y'zon's life.  It began with the tragic death of his father in a hunting accident.  From his passing, Y'zon came into inheritance of the family heirloom, a brilliant silver longsword.  This sword was of dwarven construction, a long forgotten relic claimed by his lineage from the crusaders of the then expanding Tamrielic empire.  This treasure was held in great admiration, one of the few treasures held by the survivalistic clan.  It was to be kept in his home until he was old enough to properly learn to wield it.
Soon after, one fateful night, the sleeping Y'zon was attacked on his bedroll.  In the the struggle, it was discovered that his assailant was none other than his own brother, spiteful of being in his shadow, and blinded with desire of owning the sparkling blade which he felt should have been his birthright.  The struggle continued until at last Y'zon's own hatchbrother lie dead in a pool of his own blood, impaled through the heart on the very blade he had sought for his own.  He turned his head to see none other than his own mother, having awoken amongst the noise and struggle to bear witness to this act.  Injured, disgusted and ashamed, unable to look her in the eyes, he decided then and there to pull the blade from his brother's chest, and departed into the night, never to return.
For many months, Y'zon struggled to survive on his own as he traveled the land.  He lived off anything he could, barely escaping dangers hidden to him.  Eventually he happened upon civilization.  He soon began visiting villages, learning to trade common goods in the wilderness for necessities like food and shelter.  He never remained in one place for too long, departing back into the wilderness for days at a time until he happened upon the next.  His learning of common courtesies and speech as a child served him well, despite his odd appearance, he was able to integrate with society as much as he was tolerated.  As he grew, he also took interest in books again, often spending hours in town libraries to read books he'd never seen before, their knowledge imparting on him new wisdom.
Years passed.  Over time, Y'zon continued to grow, in body, and mind, until he stood as a fully matured member of his species.  By then it had become obvious that there was something more to what he was.  Even at a cursory glance, his body was much more defined than the lithe build of an ordinary Argonian.  He was stronger, faster, very resilient.  His color never changed, he was the same odd shade of blue as the day he broke from the shell.  Even with these aside, there were oddities that brought about questions in himself.  A few seasons back he'd been caught in a massive forest fire, finding himself trapped.  Facing certain demise, he attempted to pass through the raging smoke and flame.  To his great surprise, as his clothing and goods burned away, the flames and heat licked over his scales without any sensation of harm.  He walked from the blaze completely unharmed, with only his sword in hand.
Y'zon never learned the ways of magic.  His mother, adept in comparison with many simpler magics, attempted to teach him in his youth, but like many males of his kind, he showed little promise.  But as he matured, he began to notice odd flickers of light from his fingertips whenever he felt angry, or even just odd motions.  It appeared to have little to do with incantation, as evidenced one evening when he had difficulty preparing meat for a stew on the campfire.  He hit a patch of especially tough to cut venison, and in his frustration, a flash of light arced from his hand into his blade.  The result was an explosion which sent pieces of raw meat in every direction.  He has no ability to control this sort of energy release at the present, though he often attempts to practice making it happen again.
Much of these developments weighed heavily on his mind.  Eventually, the questions of these extraordinary abilities drew him to return to his homeland in search of the answers.  Months passed as he made his way back to the place of his birth.  As he delved deeper into the marshland, at last he found the village of his birth.  But as he approached his home all these years later, he discovered that none remain.  The entire village had been abandoned, nearly reclaimed by the swamp with not a trace that would give insight as to what had happened.  A search of the surrounding land yielded the answers he'd been seeking, but the fate of his people left him no easier.  Y'zon happened upon an Argonian from his clan, an aging male he'd known in the days of his youth.  The elder had been living alone after a few years back, men with steel cages and chains had come through the land.  Slavers.  They came to the villages in number, taking the people away in chains to a fate unknown, and striking down those who resisted or fought.  He'd fought, and was incapacitated, left for dead.  When he had awoken, none remained.  It was a terrible tragedy for the young argonian to learn.  He was now pained to imagine his mother and sister, not knowing what had become of them in the passing years.
When Y'zon explained his reason for returning, the elder provided cryptic, yet revealing insight to his likely origin.  When asked about the months leading up to Y'zon's birth, the elder recalled that several months leading up to the hatching, that his mother had gone missing while out gathering herbs.  She'd been gone several days before she had been found, dazed and exhausted in the wilderness.  She had claimed to have lost her way, which he'd found to be odd, as she had been born in the region and knew her way almost as well as any hunter in the area.  It was dangerous to venture out alone, as the region was known to be home to dangerous creatures, including a Tempest Dragon that had taken up residence in the highlands, responsible for terrible lightning storms in the area whenever enraged.  As Y'zon thought this knowledge over, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place.  There was no other possible explanation.  The drake must have sired him.
Y'zon departed after that, the thoughts of his past haunting his mind, filling his dreams with terrible thoughts of what had happened to his people.  How any slave plantation could be holding someone he once called family.  But they could be anywhere in the world by now.  Or worse.
A short adventure where he stayed with a group of monks taught him the martial art Quin'ruk-do, or shield fist.  This is an elegant form of combat involving the use of an armored wrist and hand to deflect, parry, and even exchange blows from an actual weapon, and flowing, agile motions to break their defense and offensive capabilities, and in turn overcome an enemy with your own weapon.  To this end, the highly specialized training has caught many enemies off guard in situations where it was utilized.
Y'zon now lives a humble existence, continuing to traverse the countryside.  He carries hardly more than necessary to sustain himself, making use of his intellect, natural abilities and agile, athletic form to get him through his challenges.  He takes an overt interest in adventuring, exploring new places, and discovering secrets hidden throughout the world.  Having spent time in villages, he often takes pity on the less fortunate, offering assistance in the form of donations whenever he is lucky enough to have spare money left from a bounty or trade.  His sword has gotten him through untold perils since first leaving home, a self-learned master of the art of the long blade.
About:
Y'zon is a friendly, quiet sort.  While he tends to live a solitary lifestyle, he enjoys the company of pleasant individuals, particularly after a long stint in the wilderness.  He is polite, and his readings into gentlemanly behavior has brought him to emulate and take up with himself a chivalrous stance within society.  He carries his own code of ethics, and goes out of his way to help out the needy where possible.  Behind his smile, he is often tormented by the memories of his past and family.  He is extremely difficult to unnerve or anger, on part brought about by meditation during his time with the monks.  He controls his emotions, but his expressions always betray how he really feels about any given thing he hears or thinks.  Consequently he is no good at poker.  Aside from that, his limited social interaction tends to make him appear awkward or eccentric around others.  He is best described as level-headed, and yet extremely quirky.  Few have witnessed him lose his temper due to their action, and even fewer have survived to tell of the experience.

Abilities:
Water Breathing: Among the standard abilities of the Argonians as a species. Argonians are amphibious creatures, who possess a layer of gill-like branches which spread in their lungs when filled with water.  Their lungs are very strong and large in order to properly breathe in this fashion.  Consequently, they can be observed to void the water in their lungs whenever moving back to an air breathing environment.  Argonians have deep, pronounced voices as a result of a well developed larynx, and can speak fluently even underwater.
Poison and disease resistance: Argonians have evolved in a hot, damp environment.  The marsh is well known for breeding some of the worst diseases, toxins, and parasites ever known.  This adaptation results in a perpetual resistance, bordering on total immunity to most natural poisons and diseases.  A known caveat to this is that most medicines and similar drugs, which have been known to include alcohol to a notable extent, have virtually no effect to his body as well.
Fire/heat resistance: Y'zon's draconic heritage has granted him a great boon, rendering his body immune to fire.  Naturally this does not extend to his equipment, barring to any natural extent metal objects.  Noxious fumes/smoke/etc, he can resist to an extent, so long as it does not hamper his ability to take in oxygen.  He has not tried to test just how high this tolerance extends, nor has his actual body temperature raised enough to bring about any notable changes.
Electrical Blast: Y'zon's body is capable of producing significant electrical voltages from unknown means due to being related to a tempest dragon.  He is not adept at this innate power, and has little control on how to unleash it properly.  It appears to also grant him the ability to absorb outside sources of voltage without harm.  Under duress he is capable to causing a large blast of electrical energy, and in time, he can eventually learn to harness the power more efficiently.
Weather Control: This is more of a secondary ability.  It is completely passive, and Y'zon is not even aware of it.  His emotional state, due to the blood he shares with a dragon of the tempest, has an effect on local weather conditions.  It has less effect when his emotional state is less severe, merely conflicting with the local conditions, only becoming apparent with extreme changes and emotions.  He is well in control of his emotional state under normal circumstances, and as such it's effect is negligible.  When enraged, he can potentially bring about violent thunderstorms, with howling winds and rainfall.
