Furry-Within

Not sure where to put this, but since it's a poll, I might as well leave it here.

I was wondering if larger avatars could be possible. The mini profile section looks so empty and seems to have so much space left, and in my opinion, it would look better with larger avatars.

Like, 150x200 or 200x200 avatars would be nice. Better for viewing the details in them too. Cuss I can't help but squint my eyes at some avatars around here.

Either way, this is just a thought. 

The profiles and the site in general are designed to allow avatars to be a maximum of 100x100px. I can make them bigger, but clipping starts to take place in various parts of the site if I do. Example.
When just browsing the forums, the bottom of the avatar is cut off in the nav bar, search bar overlaps. (http://puu.sh/4JF1A.png)
When posting, the right side of the avatar is cut off. (http://puu.sh/4JF1Y.png)

I can make it 200x200 if people want, but it can mess up the aesthetics. If you want to add pictures that people can easily see, there is a gallery function within your profile to which you can add pictures, as well as an entire gallery section of the site which is underused.

I'm gonna have to agree with Azh. Making the avatars bigger just looks odd that way.
IF ANYTHING, maybe make the avatar bigger on everyone's individual profile? It's easily accessable from the forums just by clicking their names, if you're really curious about it. Then again, I can imagine the complications of having your profile avatar 200x200 or whatever, then have that cropped to 100x100...
Honestly, I have no idea what I'm talking about, it's 5 in the fucking morning.
