Voltron: Retribution

For now I'd like to use the new legendary defender settings.  The characters are much more fleshed out.  That being said I want to set this in the future of the show so even people not super into the lore can play.

Plot:  It's been twenty years since the Voltron Paladins reunited the legendary defender of the universe and guided by princess Allura, destroyed the Galra  fleet, driving them back to the dark corners of the galaxy.  In the final showdown, Voltron destroyed the massive flagship robeast piloted by prince Lotor.  The   crown Prince was not found in the wreckage of the machine, but is assumed dead.

The previously grievously injured King Zarkon met with the paladin's, and in a suicide play, he attacked the princess.  In the ensuing battle, the paladin's killed Zarkon and in the chaos Haggar and the dark druids had vanished without a trace. 

The universe was restored to a calm, though tentative as it was.  The rebuilding had begun, and Voltron was put to rest within the castle ship.  Keith stayed with Allura who went in search of Altea.  Upon arriving she found nothing, the planet had vanished.  Yet on a small moon of the neighboring planet some refugees had been living safely.  Allura took them, the remaining Alteans back to planet Arus to make a new home, with Keith.

Lance, Hunk, and Pidge spent many a year helping to rebuild their friends homes, before returning to earth to spearhead the galaxy garrisons peace outreach to these newly discovered planets.

On Galra, the blade of Mamora led the remaining Galra back to the ways of the honorable warrior race they had once been.  Yet many still waited for the return of the royal family.

And in the dark recesses where Altea once stood... Dark energies seeped through the fabric of reality.  The druids presence making itself known once more.

In the initial RP I am wanting to see Arus attacked, possibly destroyed with Allura and Keith dying.  It can re establish the druids as the real baddies too. 



This is kind of where I'd like to start.  Any new race (furry most likely) or old can be introduced.  My character would be the daughter of Keith and Allura, pilot if black Lion, and I'd play Haggar as well.  But this leaves any connection to the original characters open.  So.. I hope that Garner's some interest.  If it does we can discuss more depth
