A strange headlines, a mysterious cult, and terrible nighttime experiments come together to create a TALE OF HORROR from your DARKEST NIGHTMARES! For YOU, yes, YOU, (and your friends!) have been invited to this REALM OF TERROR!

Campy enough for you?

In the 1950's, you have come, whether by phone call, letter, or some other reason, to a mysterious midwestern town, frought with strange occurences and danger. It is up to you and your group of unlikely companions (player characters working together) to uncover the truth, and find a way to stop the unspeakable horrors you discover with your minds and lives intact.

This is meant to be a fun, campy horror sort of roleplay with 1950's charm and stereotypical monsters and such inspired by something akin to a mix of campy old monster movies and the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Players will work to solve a series of bizarre mysteries and fight various monsters in order to save the world from unspeakable horrors.
Long intros/posts are encouraged, but not necessary, and combat mechanics will probably use dice rolls of a system yet to be definitely determined. as such, the town is still unnamed.
