Whodunnit! [A Murder Mystery themed RP event.]

I've been thinking about DMing some sort of RP night for a while now, and Laffin recently suggested we do some sort of whodunnit event [thanks for the suggestion!  ]. So, that's what we're gonna do! As long as enough people are interested, that is.

The event will be a one night thing, and if there's enough interest and the event does well, I will look into DMing an event like this, say, once a month.

Where: The chat only. User must be logged in to participate.
When: A TBD evening, ranging from 2-4 hours.
What: An RP event which will consist of 2-5 sentence posts, wherein you will play a premade character, of which you will have some level of customization. [If this is a success, completely player created characters may be allowed in the future.]
Who: There will be around 7 players, give or take a couple. Once interest is gauged, I will know an exact number that we'll need to adhere to [campaign depends on how many people can participate]. If you want to be involved, make sure to speak up so you don't lose your spot!
Additional notes: Users must be logged into the chat for the duration of this event. If you cannot commit at least two hours to the even, please do not sign up and time out on everyone. Be respectful of your fellow player, and their committed time. [Exceptions, of course, exist. If something happens and you need to go, etc, that is understandable and will be adjusted to accordingly.]

Without knowing the timeframe more specifically, I can't commit for sure, because you noted it as an evening, and I'm usually asleep early into the evening lately, unfortunately. I *am* interested in participating, though, so if I can make it I'd like to participate.

Spoke with Luc about this some in chat, and he can't be around -too- late either. So I was thinking this could start around 5-6PM EST. Again, it'd probably last around 2-4hours, depending on the story, and how many players. As the DM, though, I will be keeping it on track as we go, so I don't see it going too much longer than that.

Hopefully this helps people decide if they'd be able to be there for this.

I can commit to 2 hours for sure at that timeframe, then; anything past that would be stretching it, but doable for awhile.

Can't seem to find the sign-up post, so I'll post this here. Combo of headache, nausea, and generally feeling ill (pretty sure I've caught a cold) means I probably won't be able to make it, or if I do make it, I'd end up not really capable of roleplaying very well, so I'm going to tender my resignation from this event.
