Skeletons are here! Humans are now on the backburner.

I'm currently working on some models for a (hopefully) upcoming narrative campaign, using the Kings of War mass combat rules!
I'll be posting my progress here.
First off, we have the heart and soul of the Norwatch Garrison: The Man-at-Arms regiment!

Tonight, I've applied the first two colors of the basecoat.
As you can see, they're far from finished, but they're well on their way to flying the colors and marching into battle.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Once we have the Man-at-Arms regiment battle-ready, we'll be moving on to the cavalry, two troops of brave knights.

The skeletons are coming along nicely. Primed with black spray-paint and a little touching-up by hand, followed by basecoating the bone with brown.

Here we have the cloth parts base-coated. This step also helps me find where I might've missed protruding bone, and shows me where I need to paint belts/straps brown. Next up, I'll do the metal (armor and weapons) in gray, then go back over and touch up the basecoats one more time before moving on to the second coat. (I know it looks orange, but it's just the lighting, they're actually red.)

Next coat! Now we're starting to look like some proper skeletons!
