<.< I;m an unapologetic fangirl.  Untill recently I have had ALL nintendo systems, the walls of my bedroom are covered in Nintendo posters, 1/2 of our console games are wii/WiiU.

Anyone else excited over this?

Yes and no... this has happened before. Nintendo always makes great strides in hardware, but as always it's going to come down to the available software. I'm not willing to buy a whole system for 1 or 2 games anymore, and while the system looks like fun it'll just be the latest Nintendo gimmick if they don't have the software selection to back it up.

so far it looks like 5-6 games avalible at launch, and a crazy amoutn of 3rd partys already with games set for 2017.  It's going to have a HUGE library compared to the wiiu

EA has already promised one of their major franchises for it. They're probably going to offer more. The fact that it also has Bethesda on-board is also a VERY good sign.

Jury's still out on Bomberman. It IS Konami; they'll probably fuck it up. But, if it turns out to be fantastic, and it took a Nintendo console to make Konami stop fucking up...

I'm stupidly excited about the prospect of cartridges.

Huh. Well, I guess since we're sticking Gigabytes of data onto them now, not too bad of an idea to go back.

It's cards.  The Switch games are on cards similar to DS and Vita games.  During the Treehouse Live segment on what comes witht he system they show the box and card for Zelda.
