Furry-Within

Hello everyone. I'm writing this to you all to ask a very large favor of you. For some of you, you know that I am back working with a certain cell phone company. For others...well...yeah, I work at my old job again. There is a competition of whoever (This is graded by store) can recycle the most phones wins. Now, I'm not talking about iPhones or Galaxy phones or any sort of smart phones. I'm talking about those old flip, ancient cell phones that are probably sitting in the garage or a junk drawer of some kind. Why am I asking you all this? Because I want the prize.What is the prize? $500. Yeah, that's quite a bit. The company wants to show off that they can be green and whichever store can come in first place, each employee will receive $500. What will I do with this money? Donate it to the site so that Azh and I can pool our resources and save up so that we can implement some changes around the site. (Really fun stuff you nerds.) I want to make it very clear that even if the phone is broken, no longer has a battery or is from Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Straight Talk, Net 10 or whatever, it is fine. Will I make a profit off of these phones? No, no I will not. I know this is asking quite a lot and if this thread gets some major attention, I will give out a shipping address. Even if you only have one or know someone who does, I'd love to help out the store. $500 can go a long way on this site. I am sorry to ask so much of you guys but with your help and hard work we can make this happen. If this doesn't take off then I won't be angry, I understand. All I'm asking is that if anyone is able to do so, please send them my way. Again, I will make NO profit of these phones. Smashed? Broken? Useless phones? Send them my way. If it's a smart phone worth something then keep it, sell it, make your own profit. My only goal is get the prize money and donate it to the site. Thank you all for your time, I hope this works out.

Thank you Bella. I know that this is a lot to ask but this money could really help out the site. I'm hoping to at least get some in the double digits. (Realistically? 10. But hey, that's 10 more than I didn't have before.)

Any phones that you can scrounge up are good. Broken phones, phones with batteries and any carrier phone is welcome. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but right now my store is trending to hit 435 phones this month (Which is good.) The money can really help the site.
