Who's interested?

My story idea:

Set in a neo-victorian era. Basically the clothing, the look, the manners - however technology never took the turn of oil and more so of steam power! Scientists reigned supreme, and great minds like Tesla were never silenced, but held in great favor! Copies of machines arose, and soon it exploded in popularity! Unfortunately the wrong hands got a hold of all this wonderful technology and so began things like 'Tesla guns' and advanced war ships. Soon the great cities started getting very political, small battles occuring throughout the land. With no official "war" declared, the people started to form their own revolutionary groups and fought the small battles in the name of their cause.

In short, a steampunk world in which the politicians have run amok, denying the obvious wars before them. If anyone has anything to add, or if it sounds neat, just lemme know c:

I am totally down with this idea if the group stays semi-small.  I'm not too great with massive parties but yeah!  I can fill any roles that need feeding into.

I know exactly what I'm doing in this, I'll be using a different char of mine than Mikk this time. I'll be using General Malak, perhaps a General of The Queen's Royal Air Brigade? running a powerful airship through the hazy skies over the world as the skirmishes break out and settle. I just can't wait . . . going to be fun <3

Ack sorry i haven't been posting, it's been a REALLY busy week for me. School's picking up and everything. T_T

I would love to play a tinkerer I have the perfect character for this I will have to dig him up.

I'm still up for the RP if you are Candii, I really want to try out my General character in a Steampunk setting. That'd be fucking awesome . . . so, hey, if you need any help starting it up, or something like that give me a message, I'll be happy to help.

I'm thinking that I could be an evil adviser to the queen. Perhaps the queen is merely a figurehead and I'm the one that really runs the show with General Malak leading my air brigade?

oooh that would be wonderful, perhaps the Queen is getting on in years, and isn't as aware of the sceming as she would otherwise be! (similar to the King in Stephen King's "Eyes of the Dragon") that would work wonderfully, Malak running the air ship brigades, and Nester controlling the queen . . . the skies running red while the Queen is told to look away, I love where this is going XD

Nice! That or the queen is very young and naive. Or even 'sick' like in...something that I watched once. As in, the queen suffered some illness that put her under, but before she could recover fully, the adviser and his close circle stopped giving her meds and instead gave her drugs to keep her under in a perpetual coma and merely claiming that she is still very ill.

I prefer the sickly queen idea personally, Battle Angel Alita has a child queen for Mars, and she's too adorable <3 I can't stand the idea of being evil to the image of Queen Limeria of Mars T.T
